She Floats!

     I amost titled this The Misadventure of Ron and Ryan.  Ryan and I put the new boat in the water this evening.  She floats and no leaks.  Last night as we pulled her to the lake we had a blowout on one of the trailer tires, but we got to the lake ok.  This evening with the boat sitting on the trailer on land I tried the starter and it fired right up.  Ryan backed the trailer and boat down the ramp into the water the axel broke and the wheel fell off.  Then as we tried to start the boat it wouldn't turn over.  So, we were quite thankful she floated. We loaded the boat onto another trailer and brought her home and will store her in the barn until we can start the restoration this winter.
